Although it may seem like women have the most say on decor, men do have an opinion when purchasing. Don’t underestimate the number of homes being purchased by singles. According to the 2009 Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers, researched and reported by the National Association of Realtors (NAR), 21% of the buyers were single females and 10% were single males.
Your best bet is to go classic with neutral colors that will appeal to both sexes.
