2010 Best High Schools as Ranked by U.S. News
December 10, 2009 by Pat Williams · Leave a Comment
U.S. News has evaluated America’s High School’s based on Advanced Placement (AP) tests and International Baccalaureate (IB) tests to determine the top schools in the United States.
The #2 spot is credited to Bloomfield Hills International Academy, which was up from it’s 6th place position in 2009.
Michigan had 864 schools, of which only 324 were eligible for a full analysis. International Academy was the lone Michigan high school rated as “gold”. Seventy-five schools were ranked bronze or above while 20 Michigan high schools were ranked silver and above.
There is a state search available on this page but currently it’s only offering 2009 results. Hopefully they’ll update it soon with the 2010 analysis.
